Granada

Granada is the city of La Alhambra. No doubt the spectacular Nazari complex outshines any other monument, but Granada is also the hometown of the Catholic Monarchs and his grandson Charles V.

Christian kings made the city an emblem of the triumph of faith, and filled it with palaces, most notably that of Charles V, civil buildings, such as the Lonja, and beautiful churches, highlighting the Cathedral, with its unique Royal Chapel.

With a large and populous university that embraces a wide range of cultural offer, and with numerous and renowned flamenco tablaos, especially in the popular neighborhood of the Albaycin, the city is at the forefront of diversity in Andalucia.

Equally famous is the sunset from the Albaycin, after tasting the traditional cuisine, with recipes full of Jewish and Muslim influences.
