Jaen stands at the foot of the Santa Catalina Castle in a crossroad linking Andalusia and Castile. Historic city par excellence, for many years was the border between Muslims and Christians, a fact that shaped part of his monumental appearance.
The Cathedral is one of the most important monuments of the Andalusian Renaissance, surrounded by narrow streets full of history.
Its cuisine is based on the products of their fields, where olive oil has a special place. Among its delicious dishes include “migas” (bread crumbs), "pipirrana", a kind of thick gazpacho, soup of beans and of course all pork products.
